Where would designers be without beautiful photography?? For many projects, it takes years to complete, but until proper pictures are taken (and you know I'm not talking iPhone pics), it's not ready to be shared.
My sweet friend and designer, Jana Bek, gathered THE most talented group of designers to blog their favorite experiences with photographers and what their talents mean to our work.
I am thrilled to share two experiences with Nashville photographers who make my work #CameraReadyInteriors.
Paige Rumore Photography:
Word of mouth led me to Paige. I coveted her work as I sifted through other Nashville designer portfolios. She shoots crisp images that have an approachable vibe, and felt like the perfect fit to capture a favorite project I was wrapping up.
#FranklinRoadBeauty was our first date... and it was a good one!
Paige spends thoughtful time talking through the best angles, my favorite design elements, and how I intend to use the images (vignettes, editorial, social media) and then shoots for all of those needs.
Paige's images came back even more beautifully than I'd hoped. The spaces feel bright and crisp. As the designer, I can see that she noticed the details and thoughtfully captured every one.
Nick McGinn Photography:
I got to work with Nick NcGinn on my most Nashville-y project to date! Country music darling, Maren Morris, wanted a more livable and usable outdoor space for her days when she's not on tour.
I souped up her backyard, but needed rockstar photos to prove it. Nick is a heavy hitter with an impressive resume... and he nailed it!
The images he shot feel edgy and cool with a rock and roll vibe that fit our client to a T!
Nick shoots both commercial and interiors photography... all with an eye for the sophisticated: www.nickmcginnphotography.com @photourworld
I am thrilled to partner with some pretty incredible designers to celebrate the photographers who highlight our work and make us look good! Check out #CameraReadyInteriors on Instagram and click below for more all the designer blogs about their fave shutterbugs!
